NoNo on Refinery 29

I love Refinery29.com because they are always on the move
in the streets capturing so much good street style!
They were out at SXSW and caught me outside the Spin Magazine shed.

Fashionably Late

is it lame if i just go back a few months to update yall on the things i was up to then?
well if is, so be it.
i'll tell ya tho, it defiantly was anything BUT lame.

Right now were going to go back, way back. Back to early summer 2010.
so it went a little something like this....

i went to
Paris for the first time. fell in love with the place.

stalked karl largerfeld

flew back to Milan with
Rox C Brown to catch Milano Men Fashion Week

got dressed, pretended to be some important fashion
editor via looking so chic (haha) and walked right into the Vivienne Westwood fashion show.
I mean, you gotta do what you gotta do.... right?

great thing was that we were then asked to sit on the second row where i made new friends from New York, Kelly Mills and Michael.
We all ended up hanging pretty hard after.
After the show we were looking for another event when we stumbled upon the Van
Laack presentation where we were very welcomed, kept entertained by the owners, designers, and sales reps and were given sweet little van laack silk scarfs as gifts.

yea you know after a few times of "cheers" we all happily stumbled next door to the Elite model agency after party where i danced on top of heaters with random props such as umbrellas

and with the boys i used to only see in fashion ads on magazines.

Kelly and Michael left to Florence Fashion week the next morning so they gave me their invitations for the rest of fashion week.

so i got to see
Ermenegildo Zegna S/S 2011 collection

and the Iceberg S/S 2011 collection.

Quicky

Elllooooo i am back!
Thanks to all of you lovelies who are sticking with me
even tho it seems like ive abandoned you.
That my friends is a lie.
The last 2 months i have been pretty much:

1. Finishing my one year program in Milan via Fashion School.

2. Going to fashion shows.

3. Traveling.

4. Networking around the world via trying to come back to Europe next summer to work.

5. Moving out of my apartment in Milan via going back to the states.

6. Couch surfing at friends places,
which was cool back at 19yrs old but now its just cramping my style!!

7. Being a boarder-line hobo.
but good thing looking homeless is chic these days.

That is just some of the main stuff going on in my life right now,
all of which have their own story attached to them.
I will share with you the pictures,
videos and stories behind them very soon!
cheers.

Exhibit A,B and C

Like i told you guys earlier, there was that whole week of furniture design and yes,
it was just how everyone said it would be....
a bunch of parties and open bars.

Non stop running the streets and crashing exhibitions/parties/open bars
for like 3-4 days

To be honest, i wasnt even really interested in the whole furniture thing, i mean i do enjoy furniture such as:

BEDS

COUCHES

and TOILETS/BIDETS
(toilet
are considered furniture right?)

but i wasn't really trippin...

But I did get to see a bunch of cool design though. Not only did this week give industrial/product designers a chance to exhibit but gave fashion designers a chance also. Fashion designers and companies such as Vivianne Westwood, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Replay for instance, took advantage of this week and gave presentations and parties, since this years Milan Fashion Week was cut short for Anna Wintour and fashion shows were jammed packed into a few days. People even protested (i didnt even think people protested here. haha)
Anyhow...

We pretty much lost a couple years of life that week

But it was worth it.
It was nice, i got to play some records at a party too.

with my friend/partner in crime Tea
